Edison is also a member of the Canadian Association of Professional Immigration Consultants (CAPIC).
Edison Ramos has worked in the business development world for over 30 years assisting entrepreneurs and economic development agencies meet their goals. He created a labour market development program in the Kelowna Region which resulted in more than 1,000 workers permanently locating to Canada. Edison has worked closely with post-secondary institutions to attract international students and worked to provide graduating students with options to stay in Canada. He is Past- President of the BC Economic Development Association, the Economic Developers Association of Canada and has sat on the Board of the Washington, DC based International Economic Development Council He is a former member of the British Columbia Small Business Roundtable and currently sits as a government appointee on the Economic Trust of the Southern Interior (ETSI -BC) Board. In his spare time, Edison is also a professional musician singing the Great American Songbook in locations from Seattle to Las Vegas, and from Germany to Spain to name a few.
